Exceeded my expectations, and redefined what energy supplements should be.
I will start by saying that I've not personally tried any other Gamer Supps flavors (yet). My only experience with energy/caffeine supplements has been with big-name competitors, so the other company set my expectations as to what to expect. When I first got the jar, I was confused about how they claimed 100 servings in such a small container. Then I open it up and I see a tiny scooper and I'm like, "What am I supposed to do, is it 4 scoops per serving?", again because I was used to such a large scoop from competitors, but I was again wrong. So I put a scoop into 8 oz of water, shake it up, and tried it. Wow. Just wow. I love peach-flavored drinks, and I had a competitor's one, so I had an idea of what to expect, and I was wrong. My expectations were so wrong. I was expecting it to be kind of chalky, because with others, you have to use so much powder and it doesn't all dissolve, but they managed to put more flavor into less powder, so there is no chalkiness to it. I was not expecting it to actually have a well-rounded flavor to it. It's not too citrusy or too sweet. Then back to the point of the packaging, I'm actually really happy with the size. Makes it perfect to travel with as it's small and not bulky. It's now going to be my on-the-road choice for caffeine so that I'm not waiting in a 15-minute line to pay $8 for a cup of coffee in the morning. Recently went on vacation for a week, and spent over $80 purchasing coffee for myself and others throughout the week. Could have saved so much if I got this beforehand, and it's easy to pack into a carry-on. I see a lot of comments about it staining shakers, and I don't mind that at all, as it's a side product of being from natural coloring. It's easy enough to clean anyways. I was also expecting to have some form of artificial taste from sweeteners, and I'm glad they went with sucralose, as it's not as harsh of an aftertaste (I despise the taste of aspartame), and it just leaves the sweet flavor on your tongue a little longer. I have 0 issues with recommending this flavor and brand to anyone. It was worth the money, and if you are on the fence, I hope this persuades you to try it, as I normally gloss over emails asking me to review something unless I truly find the product to be worth writing about.
